A cross between fudgy brownies and fluffy cake donuts, these chocolate cake donuts have the best moist texture. You have the option to deep-fry them in oil or use your air fryer.


Combine all the wet and dry ingredients in 2 separate bowls, then mix them together with a rubber spatula.

Chill for 1 hour, then roll the dough to 1/2 inch thickness and cut out the donuts using a biscuit cutter.

Fry the donuts in vegetable oil for 2 minutes each side, or air fry them using an air fryer for 7-8 minutes.

Decorate the donuts with vanilla glaze or chocolate frosting and add some sprinkles. I've included both options in the recipe!
